What is a Core Group?
A Core Group is a small group (usually 8-20 people) that meets weekly at a host home.
What are Core Groups for?
Core Groups serve two primary purposes: belonging and digging into Scripture. Belonging means that we have a group of people that we actually know and who really know us, a group of people who love and care for us and that we can love and care for. It’s the group that we’re in life with, who will be there for us in good times and bad and that we can be there for. We dig into Scripture in Core Groups by discussing what God taught us in the Sunday sermon and how it applies specifically to our real lives.
How do I get into a Core Group?
We ask everyone to complete Core One before joining a Core Group. At the end of Core One you’ll have an opportunity to sign up for a Core Group that’s a good fit for you. If you’ve taken Core One you should connect with a few Core Group leader, ask about their group, then try a few out and find one that you can settle into for a season.
