Core Kids
The mission of Core Kids is to partner with parents in raising a generation who know God deeply, love God passionately and live powerfully for God’s glory.
We believe the Bible is a book aimed primarily at describing the nature, character and acts of God. Everything in the Bible points to Him. Our goal is to expose even the littlest kids to the greatness and centrality of God and help them relate those truths to the reality of their own lives. We want to help kids know God and develop a heart for living a life that is God-centered.
We also believe children can handle deep biblical truth at an early age. Our goal is to expose children to the story of Scripture as a whole and teach them how different characters and events fit together to tell of God’s glory and grace. This is done in a kid-friendly, interesting, and age-specific context but the content of the Bible is never compromised.
We are committed to the biblical teaching that parents have the primary responsibility for the spiritual training and care of their kids. Our goal is to assist parents, not replace them, in that process. As part of this process we strongly encourage regular parental involvement in the classroom and provide weekly take-home material that is designed to help parents engage their children over the Scriptural content and concepts from the lesson.
Currently we have classes for infants through fifth grade. We invite older children to participate with their parents in the worship service.
